The light that the forest gives you
The Forest as a Beginning Everything begins in the forests surrounding Tbilisi. It takes a trained eye to collect branches and fragments already shaped by nature - fallen, broken, transformed over time. Not every piece will do. What we look for is something with a distinct form, character and a quiet story - something that can continue its life across different interiors and environments for years to come. Zodiac Scarf Collection: Scorpio Season
When Georgian artist Anano Kevanishvili began working on DAE’s Zodiac Scarf Collection, she wasn’t thinking about astrology or star charts. Her inspiration came from real people around her - Friends, colleagues, passersby. Each one carried a certain energy, a state of mind that lingered in color and form. Nino Bakuradze is not only an illustrator but also a doctor, a profession she has practiced for 28 years. She lives in Tbilisi with her husband, two children, and their remarkable Vizsla, Buba, affectionately called “Count Laszlo.” Alongside her medical career, Nino has long been engaged in creative work: she draws, illustrates, and writes.
