Description
The Dadiani Garden Armchair is a restored vintage armchair created by DAE in collaboration with Georgian artist Anano Kevanishvili.
The artwork is inspired by the atmosphere of the Dadiani Palace - a place where architecture, culture and history meet. Anano’s illustration depicts women in a quiet, intimate garden scene: two figures enjoying a picnic in warm sunlight, while a third woman rests on a sofa, wearing a dress influenced by Nino Chavchavadze’s era and traditional Georgian attire.
The composition subtly references the Dadiani and Chavchavadze families - historical lineages that played an important role in shaping Georgian cultural identity.
The armchair has been fully restored and upholstered with custom-printed textile featuring the original illustration, transforming a functional object into a collectible art piece.
